Award-winning Author Daryl Banner.I have had a love affair (completely one-sided, of course) with Daryl Banner’s books since I stumbled across The Beautiful Dead on the 50 Self Published Book Worth Reading in 2013 and it became one of my most favorite stories. When Daryl announced he was writing a sequel to the absolutely fantastic post-apocalyptic novel, I was ecstatic. All three of the books in the trilogy have appeared on the Top 50 Indie Books in 2014 and 2015. I love Daryl’s writing style. His books have so many layers, covering really emotional and though-provoking concepts while also being laugh-out-loud funny. Not just lol, but literally Laugh Out Loud while I was reading funny. The characters are wonderfully developed, and the relationships are paced perfectly. I was drawn into the strange world he created, needing to know what would happen next. I finished each book in a day. If you haven’t read the series, you need to now. Which is why I was ecstatic when I contacted Daryl and he agreed to be a guest author at the release party for my post-apocalyptic romance, Patrician. A little more about Daryl. He is a writer and composer who graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Theatre and Psychology. He writes post-apocalyptic, contemporary, and urban fantasy. He has been composing since age five. He composes and remixes video game music soundtracks. Check out his video game compositions on YouTube. He does not write in any single genre, as his stories tend to span several. He is most inspired by the smart and unlikely hero, but urges you (the reader) not to fall in love with them; they may deceive you with their innocence. He is thrilled by putting his characters in terrible situations where they must face choices and challenges that seem impossible to overcome. You should check out Daryl’s website, and be sure to like his page on Facebook, because his posts are just as entertaining as his novels. And don’t forget to join my release party on Facebook, where Daryl will be stopping by to post and perhaps hold a givewaway! Thank you so very much, Daryl, for agreeing to guest author at my release party! I am so thrilled!
